Development Coordinator
The Development Coordinator plans, schedules, and coordinates fundraising initiatives, supports major gifts work, builds and maintains donor relationships, and stewards Brigid’s Path work with supporters.
In collaboration with the Director of Advancement, this position designs and executes projects and programs to connect development and marketing and communication efforts, ensuring messaging alignment and building intentional, strategic methods of communication and reporting.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Primary duties include:
- Donor Stewardship

- Manage and maintain customer relationship management (CRM) software, ensuring accuracy for all inputs and reporting

- Collaborate with the President and Director of Advancement to identify donor prospects, meet new donors and maintain donor relationships

- Oversee donor recognition, in collaboration with the Director of Advancement

- Coordinate targeted donor campaigns with the Director of Advancement
- Major Gifts and Planned Giving

- Lead Brigid’s Path major gifts efforts, as well as specific types of giving (legacy, required minimum distribution, etc.)

- Identify prospective major donors by utilizing wealth screening information, other research, and networks of existing donors
- Monthly Membership Giving

- Evaluate and provide recommendations for updates to the monthly Circle of Hope giving program

- Lead the organization through updates to Circle of Hope, including updated process for managing CoH members and related communication

- Manage ongoing giving lifecycle of CoH members and related needs
- Events Coordination

- Organize donor meet-and-greet events

- Attend and be the liaison for community-held fundraisers

- Serve as the main point of contact for partner inquiries and events
- Community Awareness & Engagement Building

- Conduct tours of Brigid’s Path facilities for interested groups and individuals

- Represent Brigid’s Path at speaking events, community gatherings, and external fundraising events
- Marketing and Communication Support

- In conjunction with the Director of Advancement, create content for marketing and communication outreach; this may include social media posts, brochures, annual report writing and more

- Regular travel to conduct meetings and attend events in the community

- Maintain reliable transportation, including an active driver’s license and proof of car insurance to meet with community stakeholders

Years of experience | One to three years previous marketing and communication or development experience | Previous experience managing donor database and engaging with donors |
Specialized training | Must pass BCII Criminal records check
Must pass OSAPS and NSOPW background check
