As our first board president, Bob’s leadership and faith kept Brigid’s Path moving forward despite all the unknowns we faced each year. He continues to be an amazing part of the Brigid’s Path team as we begin a bigger journey in our community. Without Bob’s dedication, Brigid’s Path would not be where we are today.
Shelby Borchers, former family advocate
Shelby Borchers is the epitome of humble. Shelby took a leap of faith, joining our team as our family advocate for three years. She worked one-on-one, transforming our families with grace, determination and love as she helped them navigate a difficult world with broken systems.
PJ Brafford, founding board member
PJ helped Brigid’s Path navigate so many complicating factors to help us figure out how to exist in Ohio as a “never-been-done-before” newborn recovery center. As a founding board member, PJ was there every step of the way making Brigid’s Path become a reality in the state and in our community.
Sr. Arlene Hirsch, founding board member and cuddler
As a founding board member, Sister Arlene Hirsch helped us stay mission-focused and reminded us at each meeting who was really leading this organization. Through her strong faith and her amazing prayers, Sister kept us focused on our faith. Sister Arlene also led our “Say a Little Prayer” program. Each baby who enters our doors is assigned a Sister of the Precious Blood who prays for each baby and their family.
