Brigid’s Path Welcomes Six New Board Members
KETTERING, OH (July 27, 2026) – Brigid’s Path, Ohio’s only newborn recovery center, is proud to share the appointment of six new members of its Board of Directors.
Joining the Board this month are:
- Vivette Bowling, Associate Vice President, United Way of Greater Dayton
- Mikki Clancy, Chief Executive Officer, Difference Maker, LLC
- Noreen Hall, Owner, Financial and Estate Planning Consultant
- Kathryn Karmeris, Director, Human Resources, JYG Innovations
- Elaine Lantz, Retired Executive Director, The Glen at St. Joseph
- Sr. Nancy Wolf, CPPS, Sisters of the Precious Blood
Together, they contribute a wealth of expertise and a passion for building a healthier path forward for the babies and families we serve. They bring the Brigid’s Path Board of Directors to a total of 16 members strong, led by Board President John Garrity, CPA, CFE.
Elaine Lantz, who helped found The Glen in 2006 – a long-term housing community for single mothers and their children – has known and worked with Brigid’s Path founder Jill Kingston since the nonprofit was just a dream. “Jill’s tenacity and belief in this mission are remarkable. The dedication of her staff and board regarding this work filled with complexities and challenges was demonstrated during the very first board meeting I attended,” says Lantz. “Having worked with single mothers and young children for 20 years, my goal is to lend my skills and experience to the organization wherever it is needed.”
Nearly all of the new board members have had previous experience with Brigid’s Path in some capacity – either through working relationships, volunteering, or even previous service on the board of directors. Noreen Hall became involved in Brigid’s Path in 2015 as a financial advisor. She later served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer and on the Executive Committee. After taking a break, she is now returning to the Board. She says: “I am truly so impressed by what Jill and her team have accomplished over the years, and I feel so blessed to be able to rejoin the team and support them and the mission.”
The Brigid’s Path Board of Directors meets bi-monthly to guide the organization’s strategic direction, advise on financial and operational issues, and works closely with staff members to further the organization’s mission: Improving the health of newborns and mothers impacted by addiction.
“The growth of our Board of Directors is incredibly exciting for Brigid’s Path and shows not only the passion our community leaders hold for the mission of this organization, but also the organization’s commitment to strategic and sustained growth,” says Garrity. “As we approach our 10-year anniversary in 2027, Brigid’s Path has cemented itself as a leading nonprofit in the region. The leadership and experience that our Board members bring will further support our growth and our mission to provide treatment and care for Ohio’s most vulnerable population.”
