MIAMI TOWNSHIP — Brigid’s Path, an organization that provides medical care for drug-exposed newborns, held a fundraiser tonight to further its efforts.
The Bowling for Babies fundraiser was held at Poelking Lanes South in Miami Township, near the Dayton Mall.
ABC 22 News, Fox 45 News reporter Kelly May was the emcee for the event.
Brigid’ Path also provides non-judgmental support for mothers and education services.
It provides short-term inpatient care in a home-like setting for newborns suffering from prenatal drug exposure. The organization hopes to relieve the financial burden on Ohio taxpayers by operating at a fraction of hospital costs.
